About Us
Summit Safety Codes Services Ltd. is established in 2019 in Calgary, Canada by a veteran Engineering Professional and Safety Codes Officer Ping Song. It is an Accredited Agency by Safety Codes Council for delivering the best customer service and positive contribution to the safety codes industry, and striving to high level of efficiency, value, and quality in the work and support of homeowners, contractors, Municipalities, provincial governing bodies and other industry stakeholders.
Leadership
As the Principal of the company, Ping is a certified Safety Codes Officer in Building – Level 3 with Safety Codes Council (SCC), and a registered Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA). Ping has been previously working for the City of Calgary as a Safety Codes Officer and a Mechanical Engineer for 11 years, prior to that she worked as a Consultant for a couple of private engineering consulting firms in Calgary for 5 years. She has been an instrumental figure in the Codes interpretation and enforcement for the City and has earned high level of respect from the Consulting industry. Her in-depth of knowledge about Codes and practical engineering design background work perfectly together to integrate the building safety and design. Ping holds a Bachelor’s degree in HVAC Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in China and a Master’s degree in Mechanical engineering from University of Calgary.
